We run Dar Yazya as a small shop: pieces chosen one at a time, bought in small batches, and looked at before they are packed.
What we sell today is bowls, trays and candleholders — in brushed gold, quiet ivory, and turned wood. We chose them because they suit everyday use rather than a display cabinet.
Pieces are finished by hand, so no two are quite identical. A slight difference in the sheen, or in the grain of the wood, is not a fault; it is what makes a piece that particular piece.
When something runs out it is because the batch was small, and we say when it comes back.
